Teacher/Project Manager
Navina was born in Lalitpur, and started working in a small village in Sankhuwasabha, where she spent two years teaching primary kids with United World Schools, Nepal, which sparked her wish to enhance rural education. She then worked in Upper Dolpo at Crystal Mountain School and led the eco club at the school which led the team to win the “Climate Change Award” for the film Climate Change in the Himalayas as part of Camera Sika x. Road to COP26 climate change film award. She moved back to Kathmandu to pursue her Master’s Degree at Kathmandu University in Human and Natural Resources Management while working as a lead in Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at United World Schools, Nepal. She recently joined H.E.L.P. to work as Head Teacher (Nepali) for after-class for kindergarten children and Projects Manager. She loves travelling and discovering diverse places, exploring new lifestyles and environment, immersing herself in nature and taking care of children.
