Meet our Team

Tsering Sangmo

Teacher/ Project Manager

I am Tsering Sangmo Lama. I was born in Samdo, the last village of tsum nubri, Gorkha district. At the age of 6, after the passage of my father, my mom and uncle went through difficult process just to admit me in a very well facilitated school, SOS pokhara. I completed my 10 standard from SOS POKHARA, situated in Tashiling Camp. Given the option by school either to do further studies in Nepal or India, I followed my senior footsteps and went to south India to complete my 12 standard in science. I took a year gap to visit family in village and take some extra courses like computer science. Then once again I went to south India, Mangalore for bachelor in nursing science and luckily got selected in NUINS, affiliated under Indian nursing council. After 4 years of nursing courses and training I came back to Nepal to get license in nursing and spent 1 year working in ICU at HAMS hospital. With a great interest and enthusiasm to help my people in village I went to village to work as nurse in health post for a half year during which I came to know in detail about HELPS organization and it’s contributions towards my village and to it’s people though I have heard alot about this organisation in past too.
After completion of my contract as nurse at health post, I applied at HELP organisation so that I could stay here a little longer and contribute something to my village.
